Welcome to the web page of the 2010 SimBuild Conference Energy Analysis Competition. The competition will test participants' ability to perform a preliminary energy analysis of a school building in Manhattan. The competition guidelines and building description package contain all the necessary materials. Requests for clarifications are due on May 1 st , and final submittals are due on July 15th . Winners will be announced at the banquet and in the IBPSA Journal, and awards will be given to both the top student team and top professional team. FAQ
1. What is the maximum number of people per team?
Teams may consist of up to four official team-members.
2. Is there a registration process?
The first submittal, due May 15th, will be considered intent to participate. Teams who miss this deadline will still be allowed in the competition, but they will be at a disadvantage.
3. What if I have both students and professionals on my team?
Teams will be considered professional if one or more team member is a professional.

Is there a cash prize for the winner?
A cash prize of $1000 will be awarded to the top submittal from a team of professionals and $500 will be awarded to the top submittal from a team of students.
