IBPSA-USA is now accepting applications for the annual Board of Directors election for the 2023-2025 term.
The Board of Directors provides a vital link to the communities and organizations that IBPSA-USA serves, and these voices are critical to the future of the organization. It is important that the IBPSA-USA Board of Directors be composed of qualified members who are dedicated to the organization’s mission and have a thorough understanding of the duties of the Board. If you have these characteristics, IBPSA-USA encourages you to stand for election.
Board members serve a two-year term with staggered terms to bring fresh voices to the Board every year. There are seven Director positions open for this election. Additionally, due to a Board member’s resignation, there will be a single one-year term position for the candidate with the 8th highest vote total.
In addition, we elect a Student Director who can directly represent and engage with the student community of IBPSA-USA, which serves a one-year term. Only student members can vote for the Student Director position.

After the application period, a slate of candidates will be created and voting will be open from Dec. 14 to Jan. 18 at 5:00 PM PST. All IBPSA-USA members are eligible to vote through the following options:
- Online – Members will receive an email with a unique ID for casting their ballots online.
- Email – The names of your top 8 choices from the slate of candidates can be sent to ops@ibpsa.us with the subject line “IBPSA-USA Election”.
The election results will be announced at the Semiannual Meeting (date TBD), in the IBPSA-USA Newsletter, and via our website and email list.
